Process Skids

H2O Engineering offers custom integrated and pre-engineered process skids. We have vast experience distributing and modifying the characteristics of water (temperature, pH, TDS, sanitize, etc) in a highly automated, seamlessly integrated fashion. Our engineering team works directly with the end user to supply a full 3D rendering of the product completed with an electrical diagram, control narrative, P&ID, spare parts list and user manual.

Heat Exchanger Skid for High Purity Water

Description
The skid is designed to heat, filter, and sanitize reverse osmosis water for process supply. The heat from another waste process is first used in a countercurrent plate and frame heat exchanger to recover energy and lower overall heat demand, maximizing plant efficiency and resources. The RO product water from the first heat exchanger is then sent to redundant VFD controlled pumps and passes through a UV sterilizer, redundant cartridge filter housings, and another countercurrent plate and frame heat exchanger prior to distribution. H2O Engineering’s design included additional plate capacity to maintain process specifications for planned expansion. Temperature monitoring is provided pre and post heat exchanger on both the process water and plant hot water lines.


High Purity DI Water Skids

Description
The skid is used to polish reverse osmosis water with mixed bed resin to produce high purity DI water for process distribution. The skid contains redundant VFD controlled pumps and passes water through parallel sets of DI bottles, a UV sterilizer, and redundant cartridge filter housings prior to distribution. Differential pressure monitoring is included on the skid to alert user when maintenance is required. Temperature, flow, and conductivity monitoring are provided on the outlet of the skid.


Cooling Water Skid

Description
The skid is designed for transferring, filtering, and cooling of process reverse osmosis water. Fluid enters the skid and runs through redundant VFD controlled pumps. The liquid is sent through a filter chamber and heat exchanger prior to distribution. The control panel includes PLC monitoring with flow, temperature, and pressure indicating transmitters. Alarming and all skid control is performed by the PLC and HMI located on the skid.


Tank Level Control Skid

Description
The skid is a distribution skid for process waste water with elevated temperature. The heat from the fluid is recovered in a downstream heat exchanger to help with preheating another process’s makeup water. Material selection and insulation are designed to minimize heat loss. The wastewater is initially collected in a tank and the level is actively controlled by throttling redundant VFD controlled pumps which boost the water to the downstream heat recovery process. Tank filling is controlled by the customer and the pumps are controlled by VFD’s which monitor outlet pressure as monitored by the PLC on the skid. Alarming and all skid control is performed by the PLC and HMI located on the skid.
